Unfortunately (or is it?) this movie continues the long tradition of inexplicably suck-ass video game movies. I never much followed the storyline for the game Tekken, but I'm pretty sure they made up 90% of the plot as they went. And it shows.
Structured around 30 mins of clunky, poorly edited fight scenes are interspersed with 60 minutes of boring story followed by a predictable, if mostly nonsensical, conclusion.
A poor choice for adaptation in the first palce, it's pretty average for video game adapatations, resembling the first Mortal Kombat and Dragonball Evolution movies more than anything else, including the source material.
7.6/10
